The slurry pump mechanical seal can be used normally according to the following 7 steps.
1. Before starting the slurry pump, it is necessary to check the attached device of the mechanical seal, and whether the cooling and lubrication system is perfect.
2. The material pipeline should be cleaned before starting to prevent rust impurities from entering the sealed chamber.
3. Move the coupling by hand and check if the shaft rotates easily. If the disk is very heavy, check whether the installation size is correct.
4. Before the normal driving, static pressure test is required to check the sealing effect of the end face of the mechanical seal, the sealing ring and the sealing end cover. If there is any problem, check it one by one.
5. Before starting the slurry pump, the liquid filled in the sealed chamber or sealed medium should be kept. If there is a separate sealing system, the cooling water system must also start to circulate.
6. Before normal use, first carry out normal pressure operation, observe whether the temperature rise of the sealing part is normal, and whether there is leakage. If there is a slight leak, you can run for a while, so that the end face fits more evenly, until the leakage gradually decreases to normal. If the leakage is still not reduced if the operation is 1-3 hours, stop the inspection.
7, normal operating conditions, boosting temperature can be slowly carried out, and pay attention to the temperature rise and leakage of the end face, if everything is normal, the instructions can be put into production.
