Mud Gun

Mud Gun is also called drilling fluid gun which is solid control equipment produced by DC Solid control.

A mud gun is designed for use in a solids control system of a drilling rig. It is a tool which is mainly used for mixing drilling mud in the circulatory system and to prevent the mud from precipitating. The structure of equipment is simple offering flexible operation and easy use.  A mud gun is commonly used to guard against precipitates in a solids control system. 

Mud Gun is divided into low pressure, medium pressure and high pressure. It is usually used together with a mud agitator located at the top of the drilling fluid circulating tank. It is mainly used in the tank corner to prevent solid precipitation or wash the bottom of the tank; it can also transport the mud between the tank and tanks. Besides, mud guns can be supplied by centrifugal pump or mud pump.
